Okay I know but I wanted you to see this!!!

Now this is strange, Its not time for them to be dropping there antlers. They are just now picking up the doe's. And here this guy is a forked horn with only one antler.... but he has three babes. He wont have them for long he will lose the first fight he gets in and I seen a big four point buck near by (pictures of him will be posted on "Ken's blog" tomorrow). But now here is the funny part. Two years ago I was at my brothers, which is where I took these pictures. And there was a buck that had one antler that was close to a foot long and the other one was about 6 inches. But it was the left antler on the other one and the right on this one. but the pictures were taken about 100 feet and two years apart!

CAN I EVER HAVE A CONTEST WHEN I DON'T HAVE DRAWS? I THINK NOT!!

THE TIES WERE ROUND ONE OF THE VIEWS AND ROUND TWO OF THE BIRDS SO GO BACK AND LOOK AND I WILL POST BOTH SETS TOMORROW FOR ONE MORE DAY OF VOTING. IF THEY COME OUT A TIE AGAIN I WILL TOSS A COIN. HEADS WILL BE "A" AND TAILS "B".

I will then run the three winners from each one against each other, then the three winners of that round will be the winners, and then one must be chosen as the grand champion. That one I will inter in the next photo contest on line.

Who knew I was going to have a contest? Not you I'm sure, I didn't even know my self in tell last night! A friend wanted me to have a best looking friend contest...at first I thought no I would not do it, then I thought that he was an ass hole for thinking my friends couldn't hold a candle to his girl friend and I was all set to show him just how good looking all my friends are. But last night as I tried to plan this attack out I got the feeling that it would belittle my friends or cheapen them like they were a piece of meat. Well my friends mean to much to me so I thought I could still have this contest just not use humans as subjects. So I am having one with pictures that I have taken,. Well I'm thinking of three really. One of animals, one of birds and one of scenery. I will be posting two pictures every day for you to chose from. you tell me which one you like best by the letters A or B. if you miss a day you can scroll down and post you vote at a later time. At the end I will have 3 winners, and then I will have a three way run off to see which picture gets to be the picture of the year. then that picture will be entered in the next photo competition that comes up. and all three will be entered in the fair this next year.

Who knew that there was this election thing that was going to steal the thunder of the grand opening of this revamped blog? Why was I the last one to find out?
Shouldn't they like let people know when we are going to have this thing going on?
I mean how many of you knew this was going on?

So anyway I was really disappointed that we were not given a notice to an election of this magnitude. You know like have it on TV or the Internet. But we have a new president elect and we will be heading down a new path. Cross your fingers and lets hope he can do what he says.

And I will be asking you questions, and the "Who knew" part well is just that who knew? Like who knew I was going to put a name change and make this the real hot topic of the day.... I was waiting for a day when nothing important was going on so I would get all the thunder.....WHO KNEW?
